As of May 20, 2009 The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have ‘confirmed’ some 5,700 cases of H1N1 Influenza. The ‘Swine Flu’ has claimed at least eight lives in the U.S., but the CDC admittedly cannot keep up with testing and has begun to make estimates based on statistical modeling.

The CDC’s statistical models show that the flu has gotten bad enough to reach pandemic level. Studies show that H1N1 will eventually infect one out of every three people in the entire world. Fortunately for us, the number of deaths in the northern hemisphere is still very low. People have been able to fight the flu by simply staying outside.
