About Anger Management Articles

by Frank Williams

Anger is an issue which seems to be exhibiting great concern among a large number of people these days. Maybe, that is because it is an issue which affects all generations, races, communities. In fact, anger has the potential to touch anybody without prejudice.

It is frightening for those who have to live with anger every day. Anger not only involves the person affected but also all those they come into contact with on a daily basis. Because it is such an important issue in society today, people are continuously striving to develop programs to help those affected by anger-related issues.

Reading anger management articles can be beneficial to someone who is affected by anger. There are different kinds of anger management articles, different because they target specific groups such as teenagers, adults, men, women, couples, families and other social groups affected by anger and frustration issues.

These articles are informational; endowing individuals with useful knowledge regarding the problems of dealing with anger, anxiety, frustration and aggression. With guest writers and specialists in the area of anger management, these articles are packed full with interesting details and effective instruments that people can take home and use to transform their feelings of anger and frustration into healthy, normal feelings.

Reading an anger management article can provide an individual with a chance to acquire new knowledge on anger management, which may in turn provide some relief; a chance for people struggling with daily feelings of anger, rage and frustration to find hope and encouragement. This would not only allow a victim or his friends/family to find some hope, but it would also provide them a chance to realize that others also face similar challenges. Sharing personal experiences may help people to own up to their problem and maybe discover underlying reasons for their anger and frustration.

A large part of helping an individual get through anger-related issues is support. Assuring the person that they have people they can rely on, people who will stick by them no matter what may happen, this is extremely relevant to people who are fighting every day to overcome problems with anger. Encouragement is also important. Encouraging the individual to go to support group meetings, talk to a counsellor or read an anger management article may make a huge difference in their treatment.

Yes, society appears to have a huge problem with violence, aggression, frustration and anger but, society is also attempting to create anger management programs to help decrease this sociological problem. Providing anger management certified people to work in public places such as schools, corrections, mental health centres, society is proving they are concerned. Aside from visiting counselors, doctors and treatment facilities, people can also attend anger management courses and read anger management articles and books.

These opportunities are available to people who are serious about making positive changes in their lives, it would be in their best interest to accept the opportunity. Reading anger management articles might be the turning point for an individual. If the article is effective in reaching just one person and making positive changes in their life and the lives of those around them, it was certainly worth writing it.

Persistence: A Major Key To Success

by Ann Rusnak

How often when you work on a great idea does it seem to collide with impossibility? Often its at this point we become discourage and quit. Its at this point you need to keep going.

Obstacles will obscure your idea causing you to focus loose sight of the bigger vision.

More people give up and quit at this point. They give into the discouragement created by those obstacles. Unaware a breakthrough lay over the horizon. The vehicle of persistence drives thought those barriers to make your idea a reality.

The dictionary defines persistent as: to continue firmly or obstinately. Persistence is a state of mind.

“Just because something doesn’t do what you planned it to do doesn’t mean it’s useless…. Reverses should be an incentive to great accomplishment. Results? Why, man, I have gotten lots of results! If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is just one more step forward…. There are no rules here, we’re just trying to accomplish something.” ~Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison had boasted he would invent a safe, mild, and inexpensive electric light. After spending $40,000, and performing 1200 experiments, he succeeded.

When he hit the Discouragement Barrier, what if he had quit? The world would be sitting in the dark!

Even the dictionary list obstacles first, followed by persistence. And if you keep going you’ll reach success.

When you overcome struggles and obstacles, they will strengthen you. They show you how far you’ve come. Their main purpose is to help you grow. Understanding this purpose will keep discouragement in perspective. If you stay focused on obstacles, you’ll questions your vision and self doubt takes over. That lack of confidence leaves you vulnerable to fear and criticism. Causing you to stop pursuing your dreams and ideas.

Persistence is a conscious decision. You can train yourself to be a persistent person.

Napoleon Hill gives eight factors that persistence is based upon:

1. Definite purpose – know what you want.

2. Desire – you’ve got to want it with all your being

3. Self-reliance -the belief to carry out your plan

4. Definite plans- written out and organized plan

5. Accurate knowledge – you use experience and observation to create a sound plan.

6. Cooperation – surround yourself with others who will support you in developing persistence.

7. Will power – develop a habit of concentrating your thoughts on acquiring your goals.

8. Habit – persistence is a direct result of making it a habit.

Develop Persistence

1. A written purpose is a must along with a burning desire to obtain it.

2. How will you make it happen? Write a plan of action and what you need to make it a reality.

3. Watch your self talk. Negative self talk causes a lot of damage. Get rid of all negativity and discouraging influences in your life.

4. Develop a group of people who will encourage you but also hold you accountable to follow through on your actions.

Winston Churchill uttered this immortal words over 60 years ago that are still applicable today: “Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yielded to force; never yielded to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

Stay focused and belief strongly in yourself and your goals. Etch your goals in stone but your plans in sand. Make adjustments in your plans to obtain your goal when necessary.

Overcoming struggles, problems and barriers will take you down the road of greatness but only if you embrace persistence as your success partner.

You Want to Make Money Online? Shot-Gun Your Television

by Tranque Fuller

Internet marketing professionals promoting businesses and other opportunities for making money online as well as training programs or other Internet related tools and software, become very conscious that the vast majority of buyers dont actually use what they’ve bought. Some marketers may not care, but I believe most always trying to up that percentage.

Shocking but True At first it is shocking to discover people who will pay for a program–even a larger ticket item for two or three thousand dollars–and never even break the seal on it. Weeks, months and then years pass by as it gathers dust, while at the same time those that have put the program or tool to good use are reaping the benefits of it. Can you imagine that people are making thousands of dollars a month–even seven figure annual incomes–making money online with the very same program thats rotting somewhere on the computer hard-drives of others.

Payin the Gym Membership”Dues” Have you ever joined a Gym membership, paid monthly for it–month-after-month–without ever actually going? Okay, maybe you went the first three days after you handed over your hard-earned cash to some membership Specialist that should have been out selling used cars somewhere. Why did you do it? You kept telling yourself, Im gonna get back there soon, so I gotta keep this membership! But somehow life got in the way and soon a year or two went by and you discovered that you were still in the same place you were two years before! (Except now you’ve wasted a few hundred–or thousand–dollars!)

Inertia: The Silent Life Stealer Inertia is caused by many and varied reasons, but if asked a “certified Mental Health Professional” to break it all down and analyze us all as a whole, they would probably find at the bottom of it all that people simply dont have the belief that they can accomplish their goals. Underneath there is always the nagging sense that others seem to have some innate ability or gift that we lack. A fit, healthy body, making a lot of money on the Internet, or a happy, successful marriage is somehow out of our reach. Maybe you’ve experienced this at times, where you felt that others must have some extra “magic” that helps them achieve great things. They must have been born with something the rest of us just dont have, right?

No, Not Really Let’s examine this a bit closer: Have you ever known anyone that seemed to have many natural gifts or maybe an extra high I.Q, that seemed to accomplish nothing, or at the very least performed well below what you would expect? The truth is, few who have experienced success started out possessing everything required to achieve that success: As a matter of necessity, they simply gathered the specialized skills, expertise, tools and other resources needed as they progressed along the path to their goal. Bottom Line: They likely started out with some variation of this: a) a burning desire, b) a vision of their desired outcome, and c) a firm resolve to overcome everything along the way to their goal’s achievement.

The Simplest, yet Most Powerful of Solutions So, whats the solution to inertia? It is so simple that youre likely to discount it: Be Present. Stop operating under the faulty assumption that youll get it done later. Today–this moment–is all you have, the rest is just a promise with no guarantee it can be kept. You cant change anything in your future because the future only really exhists in your mind. However, you can only take action here and now. It is in The Now that you shape your future by taking your first step . . . and then this next step . . . and then this next step–your complete focus on each individual step along the way. The quality of your future is purely the result of the value and focus youve given this moment and each and every moment to follow. This may strike you as esoteric but its not, it is simple, common sense.

One Final Thought: Shoot your Television! Every singing-cat commercial, mind-numbing sit-com, counterfeit reality show, sexy-stylish-content-only-appropriate-for-adults-can’t-miss” episode and miserable deposit of doom-and-gloom Breaking News is bit-by-bit stealing away precious minutes of your life! Forget that crap and start Living with Passion!
