Leveling A Mage – What You Need To Get It Done
Looking into leveling a mage? The mage is a great class to play as, its a lot of fun to throw bombs at the enemy from a distance.
Now if youre just getting started as a mage and want a little help in understanding what you should do, where you should go and that sort of a thing, here are a few tips which will help you out a bit:
-When you start out leveling a mage, your first two spells you can use will be Fireball and Frost Armor. Youll want to keep your Frost Armor up at all times as it increases your armor by 30 and it slows down any enemy that strikes you.
-When you get to level 2, be sure to get Arcane Brilliance which will up your intellect by 2 points for 30 minutes. Again, as with Frost Armor, you want this to stay on at all times, the mage depends heavily on buffs.
-When you hit level 4, you will gain access to Frostbolt, you’ll also gain the conjure water spell. This will allow you to generate your own mana potions so you never have to buy them again!
-Now that you have Frostbolt, make sure you start all your attacks with that first so you can slow the enemy down, after that, finish him with Fireballs.
-Upon reaching level 6, you will have Fire Blast to add to your arsenal, this is going to be your first instant cast spell. Its a good idea to use this if an enemy ever gets too close to you. Mages die pretty quickly once the enemy gets too close, so be sure to save this spell for such occasions.
-Upon reaching level 6 you will also get the spell Conjure Food which will allow you to create health regenerating food.
A short time after this you’ll gain access to your race’s main city which will allow you to upgrade all of your equipment.
This info should be enough to start you off leveling a mage. If you need anything more than this, a good leveling guide should do the trick.
