Types of Internet Advertising

If you are new to the world of online business, you might feel a bit overwhelmed with the number of Internet advertising options available to you.

There are many different options available to you to start off, you can purchase banner advertising (think of it as billboard ads down the road) to help get your brand in the minds of your potential customers.

You can also start a contextual advertising campaign with one of the major advertising agencies such as Google’s Adwords service.  Not only will you get instant traffic and sales, but in the wrong hands, you could burn through your advertising budget in as little as a day.

For those of you who have little or no budget, you can do such things as directory submissions, article marketing and even free classified sites.

Needless to say, marketing should be one of the most important activities that you do if you own a website.

Good Morning and Good Promotion

I was happy to say that I have come into a little bit more money to promote my sites.  Sure, it isn’t much, but slightly more than last time - ten big dollars.  Sure, it isn’t much, but it means that I have some potential to get better rankings for my sites.

So, I have submitted my site to One Web Directory, Directory of Sites and Directory Dave.  Based on the success I had with the last paid directory submission, I think that this should go well too - we’ll just have to wait and see…

Web Directories For Sites with a Budget

It hasn’t been very long for me to have a budget to promote my websites.  In fact, until recently, I have only used free link directories in the past, and my biggest complaint is that I have to wait until my sites are approved - a process that can take months.

So, I have been looking for ways to promote my site on the little budget that I do have - a big five bucks.  But, luckily for me, I was able to find two web directories that fit in my budget and included my site in just one day.

I submitted my site to the Best Web Directory and Web Directory One, with quick site approval.  Just what I wanted.  I can’t wait to see how much (if any) traffic is sent my way.
