One of the goals of running my own business or any business for that matter is to keep the expenses to the minimum and the profits to the maximum. Most of us are in it for the profit, and if we spend everything that we take in, well, what is the point of the business then?
So, in an effort to reduce my expenses, I have been trying to save money without sacrificing anything. Now, that might sound almost impossible, but the real secret to take away here is that you just need to be a smarter shopper.
For example, if you have an online business, if you were to use domain name coupons and hosting coupons, you would still be able to have the same services, but at a reduced rate.
So, take a look at your business and see if there are opportunities to take advantage of the many coupons that are available. That way, your business can be even more profitable without really doing any extra work.

Whether you live in the USA, Canada or over in UK land, chances are you or someone in your family is preparing to celebrate that annual day dedicated to paying homage to dear old dad. Gifts are generally expected, and for the average dad, this isn’t too much of a problem for their loved ones. But what about the guy who has "everything?" The guy who’s into land investment as a hobby because the rest of what he does makes him plenty of money? The guy who always has a prime piece of land for sale?
For the golfer dads there is a digital scorecard that tallies performance on up to 10 separate golf courses, including how he stacks up against his golfing buddies. That ought to keep the competitive spirit alive.
If money is no object, why not get Dad an authentic standup video game machine loaded with hundreds of arcade games? Whether he once loved to ply Pac Man, Centipede, Galaga, or Donkey Kong, It will even play all his favorite music from the 180 gig hard drive.
Or if he’s a star-gazer, why not get him the ultimate sky tool? Using GPS technology, MySky is a point-and-shoot device that locates planets and stars, has tutorials and teaches you as you aim it at the sky. Traditional telescopes can’t do that. Neither can the naked eye.

My boyfriend’s uncle spent a lot of years working on contract for the US Government in other countries. I don’t know exactly what he did there but it was secretive and paid him a lot of money.
He was probably overseas about 15 years total and came back with the rest of his life paid for pretty much. However, he met some women along the way and took a gamble on marriage that didn’t pay off. He lost some to alimony and child support.
But he was and is a fighter. Rather than live with less money, he began trading commodities and playing the stock market. Apparently, he knew the right people or understood the game well enough because he made money. More than he made working for the government!
He is no spring chicken now, but everything is paid for and his son’s life is taken care of also so he has no worries.
He also has no plans of another woman in his life.

With my child just about at her prom, I thought that I would make it a unique experience for her. You see, when I had my prom, my parents didn’t have any money to make my prom special - in fact, I had to walk there myself.
So, I have been looking for a Limo Hire Kent company that would be able to provide us with a limousine for her big day. I thought it would be a reasonably inexpensive way for us to give her the time of her life, while not spending a lot of money.
Looking at the limousine hire site, we found that we could rent Hummer limos for a very reasonable price. Not only would her and her friends pull up to the prom in style, we would also know that she would have a safe ride home from her big night. We won’t have to worry about her getting in the car with a drunk driver which makes us feel a lot better.

As a blogger, it is my goal, no duty, to get the information out to my readers as fast as possible. In fact, I could almost argue that the person that has the information out first, makes the most money.
So, for me to do that, I have to pay attention to the latest gadget news, and get it published before my competition. Also, I want to offer my readers something unique, not found at the other sites.
So what I have been doing is trying out some of the new toys on the market and doing reviews on them. A review usually consists of a write up, some pictures and a video or two. This way, we are able to deliver a complete picture to our readers so that they know what they are getting into before they buy our products.
Is it worth it?
You bet. If our income and traffic stats are any indication, people love what we offer. So we will continue this service for years to come.

As a business owner, I try to multiply my efforts as much as possible. This can include creating systems that get work done in a shorter period of time, to engaging in activities that have multiple uses.
A good example of this would be the corporate gifts that we gave our employees last year. Instead of just giving our employees something like a television for a gift, we instead decided that the gifts could serve as advertising as well.
So, we purchased a large number of promotional products such as T-shirts and mugs to hand out to the employees. This way, we are able to not only able to reward our staff with promotional items, but anytime that they are seen with them, they are advertising our company.
I think it sure is a good idea that benefits both us and our employees.
