Some of my friends think that I am a bit weird, but I am just really focused on picking healthy choices. I mean, I want to live for a long time, and if I eat well and properly, I should be able to make it to the ripe old age of one hundred.
That is a long ways away, but I need to take care of myself now. That means that I take some of the latest discoveries when it comes to health foods. I started out awhile ago by taking barley grass and I am now just starting chlorella and spirulina.
Even though I do make healthy choices when it comes to food, I haven’t made the best choices when it comes to exercise - that is my weakest area of all. I will have to focus on it a little bit more if I hope to make it to the magic 100. But with a bit of perseverance, I know I can do it!

I have worn glasses since I was a young child. Unfortunately, I inherited my mother’s vision, which is far less than perfect. I have always hated glasses and have been wearing contact lenses ever since I was old enough to get them. I thought that it was time that I seriously considered having laser eye surgery.
I had a friend who had the procedure done a few years ago and I decided that I would go and talk to her about it before I made an appointment to see the surgeon. I mostly wanted to know what the laser eye surgery risks were and how common they are. She was very informative and told me that it was one of the best decisions she had ever made.
I booked in to see the surgeon, knowing that a lot depended on the laser eye surgery cost. It was a fair amount, but if you factor in the price of spending six hundred dollars on glasses every two years, it made sense to have the surgery. I am booked in now and I can’t wait.

If you’re put off by hard water, by the slightly metallic taste that iron leaves in well water. If you hate the rusty stains inside your sinks and tubs and toilets. If you’re post-menopausal and you know that too much iron in the diet is a leading cause of heart attacks in women after menopause. If all of these issues are concerns of yours, then make certain you do your due diligence in researching the best solution for your household’s water needs.
There are a number of options that are available through local companies, so when you do Internet research, here are some terms to consider using: water softener system, reverse osmosis system, plus the most important search term: i.e. - the name of your town or the nearest city. Cities are the more likely location for companies specializing in water treatment for your home. In fact, geo searches are hot and highly competitive these days. Happy searching!

When we were expecting our first child, we had no idea what was going on. Honestly, we were quite freaked out and didn’t know what to expect, let alone what we were supposed to do.
But, we purchased a book down at the bookstore that was geared towards new parents like us. There were many questions that we had, and we spent the time finding the answers together.
There was one question that we couldn’t find the answer for in the book, so we made an appointment with our doctor. You see, my wife was used to getting a massage a couple of times per week, but we wanted to know if that was still an option during her pregnancy.
As it turns out, the doctor provided us with all the answers we needed with respect to massage and pregnancy. Now we can make the right decisions that include the best interests of the baby.

It was a really scary thing for me when I moved out on my own. I was not only living on my own for the first time in my life, but I was living in a city far away from absolutely everyone that I loved an cared about. The part that made it very scary for me was that it was the first time in my life that I alone had to take care of my diabetes. I had always had my mom before this.
I knew that I had to find a new doctor and that scared me to death, as I had been seeing the same doctor since the day I was born. I did manage to find a great doctor and I have managed, so far, to keep my illness in check.
It is a great feeling to know that my doctor is part of a great medical community here in the city and that there will always be someone I can talk to for advice when I am having a bad day, even if my doctor is not available.
